Responding to Children’s Challenging Behaviour

About the event

Responding to children’s behaviours can challenge even the most experienced educators. In our 2 hour online session, we aim to support educators with tools to reframe those challenges and explore how children’s behaviours are communicating their needs – learning to understand and address those needs is a key in responding to and guiding behaviours effectively. Educators can expect the following outcomes:

ü Learn the link between children’s feelings and behaviours and explore simple ways to build trust with children

ü Discover how to support children’s self-regulation, communication and problem-solving skills, to promote positive behaviour

ü Get practical strategies for creating calmer programs and environments that reduce educator stress levels
